I’ll write a longer post about this when more details are confirmed (likely in the first or second week of January), but this is just a quick one to say that I have finally got a date and a room at the University of Leeds for my conference/networking event! It’s going to be happening on Tuesday 21st February 2023, provisionally from 11am to 5pm (this might change slightly depending on the final programme).
This is going to be a hybrid event, with both online and in-person participation possible (unless it turns out that pretty much everyone who books for it goes for only one of the two options – or if something comes up that prevents the in-person event happening I might be forced to make it online only, but I hope that won’t happen!). You can book for either option via this Eventbrite link.
The event will include me presenting my research report, but also presentations from co-ops (in the UK and hopefully internationally via Zoom) that focus on disabled people as members or meeting disabled people’s needs as a purpose, and opportunities for networking between disabled people who are involved or interested in co-ops.
Please feel free to share the link with anyone you know who might be interested!
